“Where’s Gumbo?” is modeled after the lift-the-flap type books and is an excellent iPhone experience for you to enjoy with your young child. It is recommended for preschool aged children.

It teaches your child several things. One is to enjoy the iPhone. Who does not want their kid to be technically savvy as they grow up? Second, it will teach your kid to recognize animals and the sounds they make. And last, it will teach your child some patience. The timing of the “book” is such that your child has to wait for sounds to be complete before a touch of the iPhone makes the app do anything.
